Softball Clinics 2012: Saturday, March 3rd

#2) Beginners Clinic: Throwing, fielding (infield & outfield), hitting, pitching, and base-running will all be covered. Proper technique and form will be emphasized during a fast-paced Augie coach and player-led series of drills geared to develop and improve all around softball skills. Participants will learn fundamentals for all facets of the game.

#3) Hitting Clinics: Hitting clinics will focus on mechanics, one-on-one instruction in the batting cage, tee drills, vision training drills, and demonstration by the Augie players. Instruction emphasizes good form, swing speed, weight transfer, positive-feedback and hitting progression used by the current Augustana hitters.

#3 Hitting Time: 11:30 AM-1:00 PM Grades: 7th-12th Cost: $40

Check-in for all clinics will take place in the half hour preceding that clinic session

• Those attending pitching clinics must bring their own glove and catcher
• Please bring your own bat for the hitting clinics and your own glove for any of the fielding clinics
• All hitting clinics will be at the Bill Hall Baseball/Softball Complex located at the corner of 37th St. and Lake Avenue. Pitching, catching, elite defense and beginners clinics will be at the Elmen Center located at the corner of 33rd St. and Grange Avenue.

No refunds will be given after the day of the clinic except for the case of inclement weather. Submit all such requests in writing.
